Baseline Measurement

Baseline measurement incorporates multiple measuring sensors to measure operating system’s pressure, temperature, pressure dew point and flow rate. Data loggers are attached to the compressed air system for a minimum of 7 to14 days in order to observe and record any trends and demand fluctuation throughout working week days as well as the weekend.

Results of such audits can provide a good understanding of the actual compressed air usage over a period of time, identify peaks and troughs in the air demand pattern and identify ways to improve the overall efficiency of the system. Other than helping to properly size an air compressor, air audits can also identify leaks in the installation, especially during night or weekend plant shutdown periods

Baseline Measurement with Data Logging

We want to help you get the most out of your compressed air system. And one of the best ways to accomplish this goal is to collect the data necessary to spot inefficiencies and make the small adjustments that will save you a lot of money in the long run.

  • Develop baseline data
  • Use continued monitoring to provide accurate adjustments
  • Collect data accurately identify pressure profile
  • Employ date reveal unexpected problems
  • Use data to demonstrate how much is being saved
  • Perfectly sized compressor with data

Typical Baseline Trend & Parameters

The Baseline Data Your Gain
  • Detailed system profile with graphs of airflow, net pressure, dew point, temperature and more
  • kWh energy use based on true 3 phase kWh metering
  • Key performance index (kW per cubic feet or m3)
  • Motor starts/load/unload cycles
  • System utilization
